This superbly illustrated volume is a comprehensive survey of the work of the innovative Algerian-French artist Philippe Parreno, including his latest exhibition November, held at the Irish Museum of Modern Art between 4th November 2009 and 24th January 2010, which included such seminal works as his film The Boy From Mars and the installation Speech Bubbles. This volume also includes the first comprehensive chronological list of the artists works to date, a critical discussion of some of his most important pieces, an interview with the artist by Hans Ulrich Obrist, and a work of fiction inspired by Parrenos work and written by Enrique Juncosa, director of IMMA.
